Multimedia Information Retrieval

- Descrizione: The Multimedia Information Retrieval (MIR) research group of the Networked Multimedia Information Systems laboratory (NeMIS) of ISTI-CNR has a long experience in topics related to Multimedia Information Retrieval, Computer Vision and Similarity search on a large scale.
The main object of the MIR group is the research and development of technologies aiming at efficient and effective retrieval over a huge amount of multimedia data leveraging on artificial intelligence.
Application areas range from cultural heritage to smart tourism, from security to smart cities, from mobile visual search to augmented reality.
